A Great Morning for A Christmas Tree Hunt

Well, it is very cold out there today at -19C and -30C with the windchill. A couple of inches of white fluffy snow makes it feel really festive and makes a great day to harvest a Christmas tree!

If you are heading out, dress really warm! The fire will be going and hot chocolate and apple cider will be on the go. We also have lots of special Christmas tree ornaments hand painted on real gourds! These make a great addition to your tree or make a great gift. Best part is, they are made locally and from a sustainable material!

Great day to bring a sled for pulling little people and even your tree!

Fresh Pre-Cut Balsam Fir Available Starting Dec 3rd!

We just picked up a load of very nice looking balsam fir pre-cut trees and they are available starting Dec 3rd. Guaranteed fresh! Trees are 6 - 7 feet tall and are $45 each (price includes HST). Get them while they last. We will be open for cut-your-own on December 7th.

Our 3rd Year Sponsoring the Jolly Jog!

Potash Creek Farms is very excited to be supporting the Lindsay Jolly Jog for our third year! We will be donating one cut-your-own Christmas tree and one fresh handmade Christmas wreath as draw prizes.

As in past years, we will also offer our wreaths for sale for $25 each with a $5 donation to the Santa Claus Stocking Fund for each wreath sale from the Jolly Jog.

Donations will be made for sales received by participants in the event. Wreaths can be ordered ahead of time (before November 23) and picked up at the Jolly Jog. Orders can be placed at the Jolly Jog and will be ready for pickup at the farm on the opening day of our Christmas tree season, December 7, 2013. If you are not attending the Jolly Jog and are interested in a wreath or Christmas tree, more details will be coming soon for this years season at the farm. Of course, you can place an order for wreaths to be ready in December or pick up a fresh one at the farm when you come and get your tree. Campfire Wood Goes on Sale This Weekend!

We are ready for the May 2-4 long weekend and have lots of Great Campfiire Wood available at our farm. We are open during daylight hours for self service. Look for our sign on Emily Park Road (County Road #10). We are at 400 Grassy Road and we are only 5 minutes away from Emily Provincial Park. We offer very good sized bags of dry split wood for only $5.00!

Look for our sign at Emily Park Road and Grassy Road on the east side.
